Windows KVM VPS with BYOL / Evaluation images

Interdata Networks Windows VPS products provide KVM virtual servers that can deploy Microsoft Windows images where the selected WHMCS product and sold resources satisfy the Windows image policy. Microsoft licensing is not included unless the individual product description expressly says otherwise.

Customers using a Windows image are responsible for confirming that their Microsoft licence, subscription or other entitlement permits use in a third-party hosted virtual environment and for completing activation. An activation key by itself does not establish hosting or virtualisation rights.

Current and Legacy image channels

Current server choices are Windows Server 2022 and Windows Server 2025. Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10 remain available as Legacy images for compatibility where the selected service is eligible. Windows 11 is available only where the sold plan meets its stricter resource and virtual-hardware requirements.

The current deployment minimum is 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage for all Windows images because the current Windows golden templates use a 64 GB system disk. Windows 11 requires at least 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage together with the required TPM 2.0, OVMF and q35 virtual-hardware profile.

Rebuild availability on other services

Ordinary Linux VPS products remain Linux-only. Selected Performance, High Memory, EPYC and VDS services may expose Windows as a rebuild option when their product family is explicitly entitled and their sold WHMCS package resources meet the selected image requirements. Temporary live-VM resource changes do not unlock Windows.

Evaluation software is subject to Microsoft terms and may expire or restrict functionality. Customers remain responsible for licensing, activation and compliance with the applicable Microsoft terms.

Is a Microsoft Windows licence included?

No, unless a specific product expressly states otherwise. Windows images are offered for customer BYOL or evaluation deployment.

Which Windows versions are Legacy?

Interdata Networks classifies Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 and Windows 10 as Legacy images. Windows Server 2022 and 2025 are the current server choices.

Can every Linux VPS be rebuilt to Windows?

No. Windows rebuild availability requires both an explicitly eligible product family and sufficient sold WHMCS package resources.

What does Windows 11 require?

The current policy requires at least 2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, plus the required TPM 2.0, OVMF and q35 virtual-hardware profile.
