This Copyright Disclaimer & Takedown Policy explains how SERVEFORU HOST INTEGRATED, operating the Interdata Networks brand (“Interdata Networks”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), handles copyright and intellectual-property complaints involving our hosting, virtual-server, proxy, VPN, network, and related services.
This policy is governed by Malaysian law, including the Copyright Act 1987 where applicable.
1. Nature of Interdata Networks Services
Interdata Networks provides hosting, storage, transmission, routing, proxy, network, and infrastructure services.
Depending on the service involved, Interdata Networks may:
The appearance of an Interdata Networks IP address in a log does not necessarily mean that the complained-of material is hosted, published, or controlled by Interdata Networks.
- host or store customer-controlled material;
- temporarily cache or transmit information;
- route network traffic;
- provide an IP address used to access third-party content;
- have no control over the website or content at the destination.
2. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that content, software, files, websites, applications, media, links, data, and traffic used through their services do not infringe copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.
Use of Interdata Networks services for piracy, unlawful distribution, torrenting, cracked software, licence-key abuse, or repeated infringement is prohibited.
3. No Routine Monitoring or Legal Determination
Interdata Networks does not routinely inspect or pre-approve all customer content or proxy traffic.
Our review of a complaint is administrative and operational. Interdata Networks does not act as a court and does not make a final determination concerning ownership, licensing, fair dealing, authorisation, or infringement.

Notices submitted to unrelated staff or informal social-media channels may be delayed.
5. Required Information for a Copyright Notice
A copyright notice should include:
A notice covering multiple works should identify each work and each complained-of location clearly.
- the complainant’s full legal name, organisation, address, email address, and telephone number;
- identification of the copyright owner;
- evidence that the complainant is the owner or is authorised to act for the owner;
- clear identification of the copyrighted work;
- the exact location of the allegedly infringing material;
- the relevant domain, URL, IP address, service identifier, or file path;
- accurate timestamps and timezone where a proxy, VPN, or network service is involved;
- sufficient technical evidence to identify the affected Interdata Networks service;
- a statement that the complainant has a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate;
- a physical or electronic signature;
- any undertaking or additional information required by applicable Malaysian law.
6. Proxy and Transit Complaints
Where a complaint concerns traffic from an Interdata Networks proxy or transit IP, the report should include:
Interdata Networks may be unable to remove content hosted on an unrelated third-party website. We may nevertheless identify the relevant customer account, preserve available records, block the destination, restrict a credential, withdraw an IP address, or suspend the service where appropriate.
- the observed Interdata Networks exit IP;
- the exact date and time, including timezone;
- the destination hostname, domain, or URL;
- source and destination ports where available;
- relevant server logs, HTTP headers, or request identifiers;
- an explanation of how the activity involved infringement.
7. Review and Action
Upon receiving a sufficiently complete notice, Interdata Networks may:
The action appropriate to hosted content may differ from the action appropriate to transmission, routing, caching, or proxy services.
- acknowledge receipt;
- request further information or evidence;
- identify the service involved;
- forward the complaint to the customer;
- request a response or proof of authorisation;
- preserve relevant operational records;
- remove or disable access to hosted material;
- restrict access to a destination;
- suspend or terminate the affected service;
- take action within the period required by applicable law.
8. Customer Response and Counter-Notice
A customer who believes material or access was disabled by mistake may submit a written counter-notice containing:
Interdata Networks may forward the response to the complainant where permitted. Restoration is subject to applicable law, valid legal process, infrastructure-provider requirements, and the absence of other abuse or security concerns.
- the customer’s full name and contact details;
- identification of the material or service affected;
- the domain, URL, IP address, or service identifier;
- an explanation of why the customer believes the action was mistaken;
- evidence of ownership, licence, permission, fair dealing, or another lawful basis;
- any statement or undertaking required by applicable law;
- the customer’s physical or electronic signature.
9. False or Misleading Notices
A person submitting a notice or counter-notice is responsible for its accuracy.
Interdata Networks may reject notices that are materially incomplete, knowingly false or misleading, submitted in bad faith, unsupported by evidence, unrelated to Interdata Networks infrastructure, automated in bulk without individual verification, or intended to harass a customer.
A person who knowingly submits a false notice may incur liability under applicable law.
10. Repeat Infringers
Interdata Networks may suspend or terminate a customer who repeatedly infringes intellectual-property rights, repeatedly attracts credible complaints, fails to respond to valid notices, provides false information, continues infringing activity after warning, or uses proxy services to facilitate repeated piracy or unauthorised distribution.
11. Disclosure of Customer Information
Interdata Networks does not disclose customer identity or personal information merely because a private party requests it.
Information may be disclosed where required or permitted by applicable law, valid court process, or a lawful request from a competent authority.
12. Preservation of Records
Interdata Networks may preserve relevant account, billing, hosting, or proxy records where reasonably necessary to investigate a complaint, comply with legal obligations, protect rights, or respond to valid legal process.
Preservation does not mean that Interdata Networks accepts the complainant’s allegation.
13. Infrastructure and Upstream Requirements
Interdata Networks may be required to act upon instructions from a datacentre, upstream network, IP-address provider, registry, regulator, court, or competent authority.
Such action may include filtering, disabling access, withdrawing an IP address, suspending a service, or terminating an account.
14. No Refund or SLA Credit
Action taken in response to a valid copyright notice, repeat infringement, policy violation, upstream requirement, or legal obligation does not qualify for a refund or SLA credit except where required by law.
15. Governing Law
This policy is governed by Malaysian law. Any dispute concerning this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts unless a mandatory rule of law provides otherwise.
