How to Point a Domain to Your Hosting Service

A domain can be connected to your hosting account either by changing nameservers or by updating DNS records. The correct method depends on your setup and how you want DNS managed.

  • Use nameserver changes if you want DNS managed by the hosting side.
  • Use A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, and other records if you want to keep DNS elsewhere.
  • Make sure the domain is added in your hosting control panel when required.
