For platform protection and anti-abuse reasons, outbound TCP port 25 is blocked by default on VPS services. This helps reduce spam risk and keeps the network healthier for all customers.
- If you have a legitimate need to send mail directly, submit a support request for review.
- Approval is not automatic and may require account history, use case details, and server hardening.
- You can often use authenticated SMTP relay services or third-party mail delivery platforms instead.
Do not assume direct mail delivery is enabled by default on new VPS services.
