How to Start, Stop, Reboot, and Reinstall a VPS Print

  • 0

You can manage basic VPS power actions from the client area service page when these controls are enabled for your plan. This can include start, shutdown, reboot, reinstall, and console access.

  • Use reboot for normal restarts when the server is responsive.
  • Use stop only when you intentionally want the VPS powered down.
  • Use reinstall carefully because it destroys current data on the selected operating system disk.

Always take backups before reinstalling a VPS.
