Overview:
cPanel is the main control panel used to manage your hosting account. From there, you can create email accounts, upload files, install WordPress, manage domains, and more.

What you need before starting:

  • an active hosting account

  • your cPanel username and password

  • your cPanel login URL from the welcome email

Steps:

  1. Open the cPanel login URL provided in your welcome email.

  2. Enter your cPanel username and password.

  3. Click Log In.

Alternative access methods:
You may also be able to access cPanel through:

  • your domain followed by :2083

  • your client area service page

  • a direct hostname provided by SVR4U

What you can do in cPanel:

  • upload website files

  • create email accounts

  • manage databases

  • install WordPress

  • manage SSL

  • review backups

  • check disk usage

How to verify it worked:
You should see the main cPanel dashboard with sections like Files, Domains, Email, Software, and Security.

Common mistakes:

  • using client area login instead of cPanel login

  • using the wrong username

  • trying to log in before the hosting account is fully provisioned
